The unit allows the liquid to fall out of the air by providing a chamber in which the liquid laden air can slow down AND 2. a series of expanded metal cones provide a surface for the mist to adhere to and accumlate on. The droplets of liquid then flow down the cone to the side of the chamber- out of the air stream, where they then drop into the collecting sump. From there it is returned directly to the machine through a hose.
