STAINLESS STEEL FLANGES AND RINGS, TYPE 304

KB Duct stocks standard 304 stainless steel flanges and angle ring flanges. The 3" through 5" are pressed formed, and above 5", roll formed and welded. Type 304 stainless steel is an 18-8 alloy (18% chromium, 8% nickel and .08% carbon) that provides corrosion and oxidation resistance and stands up to ordinary rusting. Because of its slightly higher strength and wear resistance, Type 304 Stainless Steel is used in marine environments (nuts, bolts, screws, and other fasteners, springs, cogs); dairy processing and equipment; commercial kitchens (sinks, tabletops, coffee urns, stoves, refrigerators, milk and cream dispensers, steam tables, cooking appliances, pots, pans, and flatware); and other industries including breweries, citrus and fruit juice packaging and food processing applications (slaughter and packing houses). It is immune to oily and acidic substances, sterilizing solutions, most organic chemicals and dyes, and a host of inorganic chemicals. Type 304 Stainless Steel is specified in more than 50% of applications requiring a stainless steel.

GALVANIZED ANGLE RING FLANGES, HOT DIPPED

KB Duct stocks Hot-Dipped galvanized angle ring flanges. These are KB Duct standard black iron rings with a galvanized coating for corrosion resistance. Larger sizes and special angle ring flanges are also available in galvanized.

STOCK ANGLE RING FLANGES, PRESSED AND ROLLED STEEL

K&B black iron rings are used widely in joining ductwork or round metal containers together in applications varying for HVAC, to dust and/or fume control, to tank. Most sizes are in stock for immediate shipment. Through 14" diameter, angle rings are press formed, and above 14", roll formed and welded. They are available with or without holes. Bolts not included. Larger angle rings, channels, and bars are available and rolled to order in steel, aluminum, stainless and other alloys. All angle rings and flanges are punched on automatic equipment. Note: Gaskets are in stock for KB duct rings in sizes 3" through 50". They are 1/8" thick black neoprene and punched to K&B specifications. Other gasket materials are available as a special order.

Oval, square and rectangular flanges are also available. Special angle rings and gaskets available.
