INFINITELY ADJUSTABLE DUCTWORK

K&B Duct' ductwork is infinitely adjustable, insuring that the ductwork can be installed quickly, "hitting " every dimension and point needed.

THE SECRET IS THE ADJUSTABLE SLEEVE
AND ADJUSTABLE FITTINGS.

For lengths varying from 11” to 59”

After measuring to obtain the length needed:

STEP 1a
STEP 1b
STEP 1c

Take a standard 5’ section of the appropriate diameter duct, mark the duct app. 3” shorter than the needed length.

STEP 2
Cut the duct using a hack saw, reciprocating saw or metal cutting electric nibbler.

STEP 3
File the edge of the duct to remove burrs.

STEP 4
Slide the cut piece of duct into the 11” long adjustable sleeve.

STEP 5
When you have the assembly to the length needed, roll the O-ring from the adjustable sleeve, onto the cut pipe.

STEP 6
Using a standard K&B Clamp- clamp the O-ring to the rolled lip of the adjustable sleeve and install. The length can be adjusted by un-clamping, then lengthening or shortening the assembly and re-clamping.

STEP 7
  Finished.
