IN-LINE OIL MIST ACCUMULATOR

The new oil mist accumulator is designed to eliminate excessive amounts of oil from entering the duct stream and eventually reaching the collector. High speed cutter heads, large amounts on affluent and poor pick-up design often mean that too much affluent is caught in the air stream. Therefore, many oil mist systems are more 'affluent transfer' systems than actual 'mist' systems.

The NEW K&B Duct IN-LINE Accumulator serves to 'knock-out' the excessive affluent and reduce the amount that enters the duct stream and eventually the collector. This reduces the chance of leaks and can increases the life and effectiveness of the collector.

This unit is designed to clamp into the duct system directly at the machine. The two-piece construction allows the part to be disassemble for cleaning should it ever be needed. A drain in the bottom returns the affluent to the machine.

FLEX HOSE CURB FOR OIL MIST APPLICATIONS

Often flex hose is a necessary part of an oil mist installation. And yet the mere fact that the rubber hose has to go over 'something' means that there is potential for leaking- regardless of how tight you get the clamp.

K&B Duct has a NEW 'Flex Hose Curb' designed specifically for flex hose in oil mist applications. The hose attaches to the curb with a standard 'worm' clamp but a drain curb (collar) around the adapter and just below the connection to the hose catches any oil that leaks past the connection. Small (1/4") drain holes allow the captured affluent to drain back into the pick-up.
